How to remove Auto Log off Virus
This particular virus, the Auto Log off Virus seemed to be bugging the network for quiet awhile. Worse, it doesn’t have any removal tool yet.
Now some computers we’ve encountered were not just infected with the so called Auto shutdown Virus. But soon after removing the said virus, another one is opt for more serious problem the auto log off virus.
What it actually do, is it logs off the user few seconds after logging on. So if you happen to be infected with Auto Log off Virus, I would suggest that u do the following as remedy:
How to remove Auto Log off Virus:
1. Back your data.
Have your primary Hard Disk, the one infected with auto log off virus and set it to slave HDD.
2. On your Backup (now your Primary HDD), access the files (from slave HDD to Backup) and copy necessary files.
3. If necessary, use third party software to freeze the backup drive so that after your done with the data backups. You can contain the drive and make sure nothing goes through it after.
4. Set the infected HDD now to primary and prepare to format it.
5. After formating, unfreeze the backup disk (if necessary) and recover the data.
6. Install Anti Virus and its updates and scan your computer once in awhile.
