Lsass.exe - Insufficient System Error
Symptoms : Windows will load as usual but when it reach the log on screen, this error will appear:
Lsass.exe
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.
Causes : Very low Hard Disk space.
Virus, such as Sasser
Solution/s:
1. Boot the PC using the Windows XP installer CD.
2. Go straight to the command prompt.
3. Deleted some of the unwanted files especially in C: drive.
4. Uninstall some unused programs.
5. Practice saving your files in the My Documents folder or to another partition instead in drive C:
For virus removal:
1. Download removal tool (sasser virus) from http://www.symantec.com
2. Disconnect your Lan from the network before running the removal tool.
3. After running the tool, update your anti-virus definition.
4. Scan your machine or computer.

I am gald to try this…but when I use the Windows XP installer CD, I require a Windows system recovery disk…which I do not have!
Please help me what do I do know?

hi. try to ignore the recovery disk portion. and continue doin’ the procedure. you can also disable floppy temporary so it wont ask for recovery disk. hope this helps.
